The average commute for a Washingtonian is 45 minutes each way, my roommate told me after her geography class yesterday. I found that hard to believe, and I was right. It's only 36 minutes for your typical PG county commuter and 29 minutes for those who live in the unrepresented District.
I sleep well at night knowing that I'm beating the average by spending an two hours on the Metro getting to and from work everyday. Oh well, lessons are meant to be learned.
